Commercial fishing

Trawling - the main method of fish production, currently accounting for more than 70%.
Time spent on staging and sampling trawl significantly less than when dealing with networks, catches the same very large, from 4-5 to 100-120 tons per lift, depending on the type and thickness of the vessel. And it gets into everything that is in the water.

Trawls can lift at one time a wide assortment of fish - sea bass, mackerel, hake, Mero, eel, cod, turbot, John Dory, sardinella, Shedd (view large herring), a saber, tuna, tooth. Yes, more shrimp, lobster, cuttlefish, squid. There are inedible fish - rays, sharks, monkfish, sea snakes.

The challenge is to quickly handle all of this, it is sorted, expanded in a pan, send it in the freezer for freezing.
   
In the late 70's - early 80's fishing fleet is constantly replenished with new, large, modern vessels: large freezer trawlers of various modifications, the largest of which are little inferior in size floating base.  For example, trawlers BAT type "Octopus" have a length of 109 meters, and engine power 7200 hp and can p rocess up to 150 tons of fish per day! These vessels may be in the autonomous navigation for months, if not more.
